Spanish courses and DELE exams
DESCRIPTION
The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official certificates accrediting the degree of competence and mastery of the Spanish language, awarded by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Spain.
The Rei Afonso Henriques Foundation is part of the Exam Centers for obtaining the DELE in Portugal.
INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
DELE Diplomas are recognized internationally and enjoy great prestige among public and private educational institutions, as well as in the business world and chambers of commerce. They are a guarantee in the evaluation and assessment of language skills in the Spanish language.
EXAM LEVELS
At the FRAH Language Center/DELE Exam Center in Bragança, you can take the following levels recognized within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

- Level B1 certifies sufficient language competence to understand and react appropriately to the most common situations in everyday life and to communicate basic desires and needs.
- Level B2 certifies sufficient language competence to function in everyday life situations, in normal communication circumstances that do not require specialized use of the language.
- Level C1 certifies sufficient language competence to express oneself clearly and without having to limit what one wants to say. The candidate has a good command of a broad lexical repertoire, including idiomatic and colloquial expressions.
- Level C2 certifies the language competence required to operate in situations that demand a high level of language use and knowledge of the cultural habits expressed through it.
